Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Daily Rituals mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own private, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App.
Your content
Journal entries and other content you create in the App belong to you. As described in our Privacy Policy, this content is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Optional paid subscription (Daily Rituals Plus)
A future version of the App may offer an optional paid subscription ("Plus"). If and when that feature is enabled:
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Managing your subscription: You can view and cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store (Android) subscription settings. Cancelling stops future charges; you retain access until the end of the current paid period.
- Pricing: Subscription prices are displayed before purchase. Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.
There is no paid subscription in the current version. This section applies only once Plus is live.
Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
- Use the App in any way that could harm other users or the App's infrastructure
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
